The wedding of Melissa & Kevin took place on April 5th, 2014 at the Omni Montelucia Resort & Spa in Paradise Valley. Many months of planning and preparation went into making every last detail utterly perfect.
When the client was first brought to our studio, we knew instantly this would be a remarkable occasion. The client’s vision was that her daughter’s wedding would be unforgettable. We previously worked with Ashley Coleman from Revelry Event Designers and we knew she would be an absolute asset to coordinating the rental décor.
The ceremony took place in the Alhambra Foyer with a beautifully draped fabric ceiling above the stage where Melissa and Kevin would commit their lives to one another. The stage was set with columns featuring custom fabric covers decorated with various height glass vases designed with bouquets of white long stem roses and the stage was covered with a lush blanket of white rose petals.
After Kevin and Melissa became Man and Wife, the guests were escorted into the Alhambra Ballroom for dinner and dancing. When guests entered the completely transformed ballroom, they were greeted by massive live Chinese Elm trees enclosed with banquettes, custom fabricated by Revelry. The trees featured a countless assortment of hanging glass votive candle holders and luminous romantic up-lighting. The stage featured a custom backdrop that was hand painted with an elegant Parisian filigree design and hand painted stage surround.
Various guest reception tables featured an assortment of centerpieces; such as Revelry’s custom chandelier table. The chandelier table featured an oversized silver candelabra designed with ivory seasonal flowers, and a lush scroll rose petal pattern was featured inside the glass shadow box of the chandelier table.
The ballroom perimeter tables were draped with a custom silk ivory fabric with interwoven metallic gold accent and featured a tufted crème Chenille curved banquette. An antique gold, five foot tall iron tree with a lush covering of blooming branches and multiple ornate votive candles hung throughout the branches adorned the tree. Crystal cut vases, mercury and silver candle sticks, gold etched votive candles and an eclectic mix of unique bud vases were designed with flowers and accented the base of the iron tree.
Throughout the room, three oversized antique gold mirrors were hand painted with the evening’s menu items. The open seating concept allowed guests to choose where they wanted to sit for dinner. Our client desired open seating so the guests could mingle and enjoy the amazing décor while moving about. The entire room was draped with Revelry’s custom fabric finished with a valance.
The Flower Studio couldn’t be more thankful to all that were involved in this wedding; especially to our client for trusting us with her vision.
Best wishes to Melissa and Kevin from The Flower Studio!
