5.  Wedding Gawker  - This App is pretty new the scene. If you are familiar with Pinterest at all, this wedding app is its sister. Pretty much the same idea but ONLY wedding material. You can browse ideas from bouquets, bridesmaid dresses, ceremony decor, the list goes on.  This App is also Free so a great download that will keep you hooked to your phone!

10.Plan Your Wedding with Mindy Weiss - Mindy Weiss is a celebrity wedding planner that has planned weddings for many A-listers such as Gwen Stefani and Heidi Klum.  This app is full of Mindy’s knowledge from creative ideas, current wedding trends, and latest designs from top wedding designers! Want a celebrity style wedding? This app will get you one step closer!

If you live in Arizona, you are used to feeling spring in the air right about now. The temperature outside peaks around 80 and all you want to do is be outside. This is a perfect time of year for weddings!! Wedding season usually picks up around this time and goes until May or until you can cook a egg on the concrete! With spring practically here, spring colors are hot and put together in the right way can be gorgeous color schemes for weddings. If your wedding is this spring, most likely your wedding is 98% planned but if your thinking spring wedding for 2013, here are some hot color pallets that will for sure scream spring wedding!

This past New Years Eve we had the pleasure of setting up a wedding at the always fabulous Royal Palms in the Alegria Garden. The Alegria garden is a perfect setting for this intimate wedding. The alter was embellished with an arch of luxurious ivory fabric that was pulled to the sides and puddled at the base. Above the alter was our iron chandelier dripping with crystals and candles. At the back of the aisle were hanging hydrangea pomanders and the aisle had an outline of rose petals.

Each centerpiece was different. One table had a trumpet vase with a collar of white hydrangea and an umbrella of love calla lilies. The next table had a clarinet vase with a floating candles and a spray of white phaelenopsis orchids with a ring of white hydrangea at the bottom. Another table featured a pairing of amaryllis vases with white oriental lilies and the other with phaelenopsis orchids trailing down. A set of halo vases tucked into the collection with floating candles, as well as multiple candle stems with floating candles. A cloud of white hydrangea, white dove roses, and white lilies sat on the popular myann vase.

Lastly, the sweetheart table was the most decadent of all, a flower show of each vase containing one type of flower. A pave of white roses, a lush hand tied bouquet of hydrangea, a pave of white lilies, a cluster of love calla lilies, and a vase dripping with white phaelenopsis orchids. Throughout the collection is multiple candlestems with floating candles.

The fireplace was embellished with candles enclosed in various size cylinder vases and hydrangea pomanders from the ceremony. A small lounge vingette was placed next to the dancefloor and had a small floral and candle collection on the coffee table.

Here is a video that Carl Anderson of Princess Bride Video put together for the wedding of Betsy and Chris back in November. Of course Flower Studio was there for all the florals and bouquets and worked with Imoni Events for their gorgeous wedding at the Four Seasons.

For the past few years, Scottsdale has hosted the Scottsdale Wedding Walk located in Old Town Scottsdale. The Wedding walk invites tons of wedding vendors all around the valley to display some of there work for a “one-stop” shop for brides! Flower Studio worked with Destiny’s Bride and was there to set up some floral designs for their new grand opening in Old Town Scottsdale! Our set up included some furniture rentals from Cr8tive Events and linens from Wildflower Linen.

If there is something hot going on in Scottsdale, The Flower Studio is there!! Barrett Jackson Auto Auction is at Westworld in Scottsdale, AZ from Sunday Jan 15th to Sunday Jan 22nd. The Flower Studio set up some floral arrangements for the Ford Motor Company. We used  a cobalt blue industrial acrylic table from Cr8tive Event Rentals featuring our
Mirror troughs with lush pave of  green Cymbidum orchids, Green tea roses, Antique green Hydrangea, green Kermit mums, and blue thistle. Nestled cobalt blue votives throughout. Here are some pics of our set up!

Yesterday The Flower Studio set up for a private event for the Stanford University Alumni at the Tostitos Fiesta Bowl. The theme of the party was “Western” so naturally we  worked with the theme. We worked along side some other great companies! Jim, Joely and Blake at The Savor Society served up some delicious barbeque to fit the western theme! Jayne with Cre8tive Event Rentals was also there to provide all the events tables, chairs and decor. Here are some of the pics of the Fiesta Bowl event!
